  1. Visual Audio Sensory Theater

    After seeing two awesome shows this fall (Scott Matthews in September and Wilco in October), I spent November trying to find my next awesome show. When you consider my somewhat eclectic musical tastes and location (the middle of the middle of absolutely NOWHERE), it's not an easy task, and I came up spectacularly empty... until this week.

    A while ago I'd noticed VAST was on tour again - and, as usual, hitting up everywhere BUT the general DC area. I resigned myself to a boring, concertless winter and forgot all about it... until the other day, when I happened to check again and saw that they'd added a show at the State Theatre on Valentine's Day.


    Mmmmmmm.

    This will definitely be a very Happy Valentine's Day.

      The more I listen to their first CD the more I'd love to see them.

      For some reason I'm surprised that they're American. I always thought they were from England. Perhaps it's singer boy's accent? Dunno. Either way, VAST is pretty awesome.
