  1. Stereotypes in action: McEnglish

Be more convincing next time, then.

I thought about pointing it out, but blank looks really don't translate well over the headset.

I'm inconvinced that even their digital screen can guarantee order accuracy. In fact, I'm inconvinced of lots of things thanks to that sign.

And aren't you supposed to talk into that device right where the sign is taped? Argh...

I'm inconvinced that order accuracy is even possible at this particular McDonald's. Every morning for the past 2 years, I've ordered the exact same thing: 1 large coffee, 5 creams, 5 sugars. The number of times they were able to actually get that right was far outweighed by the number of times they fucked it up.
And it's not like they didn't know, either. I recently gave up dairy, and the first morning that I ordered my coffee black, the girl at the window went to hand it to me, then looked at me, confused. She took the coffee back and looked at the screen again. "Didn't you want cream & sugar?" "No," I said, "but thanks for remembering" ...when it didn't apply anymore.

Our McDonalds over here is the same. The have screwed up my orders every time for like five years now- to the point where I don't even go there anymore. Last time- around X-mas- I ordered a McChicken sandwich they didn't put anything on the damn thing except one slice of pickle in the middle and they forgot to put my fries in the bag.

Fast food pretty much sucks anyway. I haven't been able to eat their hamburgers ever since I heard about the meat flavored spray they put on them because it's been processed so much, the burger completely loses all flavor.

I'm inconvinced that they are actually sorry. They probably have plenty of shakes and are snickering from behind the digital display.
