  1. My world will be rocked in approximately 12 days.

    OMFG.

    I called Charlottesville Pavilion to ask about the photo policy for the show. Wilco specifically states on their website that they allow non-flash photography and audio recordings where it does not conflict with the venue. However, apparently CP can't tell me for sure until next Monday (or so the guy said, after I explained that I was driving two hours to get there and I kinda needed to know before I brought the camera along, 'cause I sure as hell ain't leaving it in the car).

    Hey, maybe I can even ask Jeff Tweedy how I ended up on his front page of friends on his Myspace, so James will quit teasing me about it... but I'd definitely settle for a few photos and a kickass show.

    Man, I don't know how I'm going to keep from doing the motherfucking happy dance until the show. Restraints may be in order.

      My boss was on MySpace a while back and saw my profile. The very next day, she referred to me as "Ms. McGee" in an office email. Thank god she left the first part out, or I would probably have had some 'splainin' to do.

      I went to a Fleetwood Mac show one time and they said no cameras. I shoved my camera down the front of my tights. Then when I got in, everyone had cameras, there was flash everywhere.

      You can do it.

      I'm really, REALLY hoping I won't have to smuggle it in, 'cause my Nikon is huge (and heavy with the lens). I'd have to claim tranvestitism (and the world's biggest package).
      Let's hope it doesn't come to that. ;)
