  1. My tiramisu...

    Let me show you it.

It took three days* to make... but it was worth every second.

*But only because I live in BFE and have to make my own damn mascarpone cheese** instead of just picking some up at the store like normal people. If I didn't have to make that first the tiramisu would have only taken a few hours.

**I'm going to post a tutorial on that. Some day. Probably.

Oooooh, tiramisu... One of my all time favorite desserts (and I'm not much of a dessert person).

A sushi joint in NE Portland called Masu East makes its own tiramisu using green tea instead of espresso. It's not bad, but it doesn't have the coffee kick that I love so much in normal tiramisu so I don't know that I'd buy it twice.

Two words about this evil, evil dessert: shit'll killya. But what a way to go, huh?

      BFE?

BFE, though I wouldn't have expected you to know that, as you've never been there. ;p

Green tea? That's innovative... but curious. My various tiramisu recipes call for marsala or brandy or other stuff I can't remember right this second, but I really like using Kahlua instead. Fetchin' tasty!!
I'm also severely addicted to Toasted Almond Cream Cake, which is just like tiramisu, except it contains almonds and almond liqueur instead of coffee. Mmmmm.

That's about the only thing that sucks about living here. We can't get good food anywhere. We have to make it ourselves- if we can find the ingredients to make it.

College really spoiled me on this particular issue. I really hope you post the recipe.

Okay, okay. Ask and ye shall receive. Not tonight, but I'm staring at the beginning of a four day weekend, so soon. I promise.
