  1. About those status messages last night...

    I don't know what they said either. Sorry.

    They must have really been something because a number of people asked me about them. It's been bugging me, and I've been trying to remember, but so far, no luck. I'm sorry. If I do figure it out, you guys will be the first to know.

    In my defense, I did drink a six pack, chugged some white zinfandel, downed shots of Crown chased with beer (?!), and guzzled some Malibu, too. Three quarters of the way through our volleyball series, I picked up our Program Director (literally) and swung him around. Since he's my boss' boss, I REALLY hope he didn't mind. Ugh. Also? It pains me to admit this, but towards the end of the night, I went to the ladies' room and miraculously managed to get through it without falling over. When I went to leave, however, I pushed on the door expecting it to open, and instead walked right into the (still very closed) door. Wtf?

    I pushed it again, harder. Nothing.

    About this time, I noticed a lock on the door. I didn't remember locking the door, but maybe I had? So, I flipped it the other way around and pushed on the door again.

    Still wouldn't budge.

    About this time, I started to panic slightly. What if no one came in? I had already been trying to get out for five minutes, what if I was stuck in there all night? What if -

    And just then, it occurred to me...

    I pulled the door open and walked out into the hall, much to my relief.

    So the status messages, they were really nothing in the grand scheme of my drunken stupidity, I assure you.

    Good LORD, was I freakin' lit.

    *shakes head

      It may just be me ... but there is no link on your blog to allow me to read your earlier posts before this one. I don't get here as often as I should (that's my mea culpa) and would like to check out what you've been writing about.
